Ryan and Amy - Engaged

This weekend Jake and I had the privilege of shooting engagement photos for the lovely couple Ryan and Amy. We met them down in San Diego and made our way to the beautiful Balboa Park to take their photos. It was a gorgeous place with a variety of backdrops for us to use for the portraits. Pastor Jake and I

On Saturday Jake officiated his first wedding. The family of the bride is very special to Jake because they were instrumental in leading him to the Lord. They had always ministered to him and prayed for him as he was growing up, and it was they who took him to church where he went forward to receive Christ. He was a little nervous since he cares for the family so much, and also because the father is quite an accomplished businessman and speaker, and attending the wedding were several congressman, state assemblymen, and a senator... I would say he had reason to be a little nervous, but he did amazing. I am so proud of him. The wedding was beautiful... probably the nicest wedding I have been to, and it was so nice to just relax and enjoy it without having to work.

Beach Day!

I am so happy that the June gloomy clouds have rolled back and the summer sun has come out to play! This Saturday was the perfect beach day, and of course everyone else thought so too... so after an hour of searching for a parking space, we made it to the beach! Finally a chance to (attempt to) bronze my pale skin!
